A good choice Date: January 13, 2009

Pros: firewire connection, lighted power button, nice looking
Cons: slightly larger than other enclosures

This enclosure is easy to set up, has an attractive and businesslike appearance, and works great.
Has a convenient lighted power button on the front panel, instead of a fiddly rocker switch on the back. The lighted switch also gives visual confirmation that the unit is ON.
Firewire connection is a plus.
It's a little wider than some other units and very stable on the desk.
Overall, a good choice.

Pros: ease of setup, connect via usb or firewire
Cons: none

I was able to have this up and running within 20 minutes. Instructions easy and straightfoward. Connected to desktop, recognized it immediately and was accessing the data on the hard drive a few minutes later. Strongly recommend this kit.

Pros: quiet, looks great

This is the best hard drive enclosure I have used. All cables included. On off switch on the front. Quiet. Works with Mac and PC's. Very easy install.
