While this is probably not the sexiest accessory you'll get for your 2G iphone, it's one of the most essential if you're going to use it as an ipod in your car or home. I use this one as a connector to a speaker system in the kitchen and it works perfectly fine. I have two, for which I've paid prices ranging from ~$6-$1, so the price here is a decent average.
