best non-subwoofer speakers

I researched a lot and I am very happy with the results. I don't have the space on my desk for a separate sub woofer but I still wanted decent sound and was willing to pay around 100 or so. I am somewhat of a critical person and these speakers deliver IMO. It seemed as though other speakers as loud as these produced muffled bass sound. But these have fullness and clarity- great for movies or music.
