Pros: Easy to Setup/Install, easy to use, fast, high capacity, quiet, reliable, Highly Compatible, not a western digital

We replaced (yet another) failed WD My Book external with this drive, by buying a separate enclosure and building our own. It's both faster than the Western Digital, and has a better warranty. Very happy with this purchase.

Ordered 6 to fill in a total of 40. Lots of storage 40TB. Very reliable for RAID 5 and reasonably fast for a 7200 rpm disk

Pros: fast
Cons: expensive

Hard Drive is everything I expected. Functions as advertised. I purchased this product because I believe it is a premium product in its class. It commands a premium price! The real test is how it will perform over time.

Cons: price

I installed one of these hard drives into my Dell PowerEdge 2900 Series III server. The drive fit into the Dell Custom Rails with out issue and the drive's performance on the PE2900's SAS buss is amazing (SATA Drives will work on a SAS buss) The 1TB drive formatted in no time at all and has performed flawlessly since its installation several months ago. I highly recomend this hard drive!
