We had an old 750 VA IBM UPS that had its battery fail after several years. We've been told whenever we had problems with it powering down without notice that it was "overloaded". We decided to get this model because of the replaceable battery and the much higher power rating. Now we've found out that we're only using about 10-15% of capacity so we don't have to worry about the overloading problem ever again. Battery replacement will be very useful in the future. Great software and on-display diagnostic info. The only con is that there are so many diagnostics on the display that it takes a while to figure out how to use them.
Very nice

Nice unit, easy to set up. I particularly liked that the battery arrived fully charged (there are clear instructions about how to turn it around in the case to make it activated), so there was no need to charge for 12 hours before getting started. What's more, I had been having a specific problem where my computer would turn off occasionally when I would start a print job -- apparently because the printer was causing a sudden power drain on an older, cheaper unit. The problem disappeared as soon as I began using this product. Thanks.
Good Purchase!

I purchased two of these UPS towers after doing a little research on how many items could be plugged in on the "Battery" side plug-ins. A lot of other comparible brands offered lots of plug-ins sockets but half of them were surge only. These units have 6 battery sockets and 2 surge sockets for "AC", which worked for me. I have two desktop computers that have two 17" LCD screens and two external color eye units which all is plugged into one UPS. The front display panel then tells me the battery will last approx. 30 minutes. With all that plugged in it only is showing only 17% load. They seem to be a great units. Easy to install. Another plus is that they arrived in two days on free ground shipping.
Works well
