I received the product in a timely fashion and the
printer set up with no problems. I have a Windows 7 OS. I have printed out a few photos and have found some color deviation, which I hope to adjust in the printer properties. I have not attempted to print any large size prints yet.
Hopefully everything will work out for the better. It is a large size printer, so be aware.

The Epson 1400 printer is an excellent printer. The colors are outstanding, brilliant, and can be adjusted. It is economical as far as the use of ink is concerned. I've printed lots of photos at this point and haven't even used a quarter of the ink supply. My only criticism is that it's a little slow. Other than that, I am very pleased with my purchase. My experience with PC Express was fantastic as well; easy to order, pay for, and was shipped pretty quickly.

We use the printer to print clear films for screen printing. We modified the printer to add a bulk ink system. It does an extremely nice job at printing our films. It is a little slow, but worth the wait.

This is the second Epson printer I have owned. I think Epson printers are great quality. I love this printer! I can't believe the quality of prints, especially for the price. And what a great price for a wide-format printer!
I received this product fast, with no problems. Easy/quick set up. Fast prints and extremely quiet.
The cartridges are a little pricey. But with six separate cartridges, at least you only have to buy the one you need.
Being a wide-format, it does take up much more space than a standard inkjet. But I really don't mind.
I'm thrilled with this purchase!

This is a truly outstanding product, especially for what I paid. I had a $700 Epson printer (2200) which I sold. This 1400 works and prints as well or better than the 2200.

I bought the Epson 1400 as a replacement for the Epson1280, which has issues that are too expensive to fix.
The 1400 has so far been far superior to the 1280 and I would reccomend it highly.
The print quality and the increased speed is a very welcome sight.

The printer exceeds my expectations. I print on Epson Premium Matte Presentation paper (I have read glossy photo paper can have quality problems with any printer so I avoid it) and am very satisfied with the results. It looks as if I had my photos professionally printed. The matte paper (sold seperately) also removes side-view glare. I have not used the CD/DVD tray yet, but from what I have read, it is a great asset for those who need it.
Keep in mind 3 things:
1) You will not get a full run of the ink the first time you set up, but will thereafter.
2) To print borderless, you must select this option both in the print driver (right click the printer icon and select preferences) and the print program (e.g. photoshop, print wizard...).
3) Don't forget to calibrate your color settings so what you print matches what's on your screen/LCD display. (Preferences)

This is a wonderful printer. I've had several epson printers, starting with an FX-80 dot matrix printer in the '80s. This is one of the best yet. However I think its about to be replaced as the price keeps dropping. If you need a photo printer now, you can't do better than this one. If there is a down side, it would be the cost of the ink. But then no good ink jet has cheap ink.

I needed a printer for small event pictures, client proofs and marketing materials. I am a photographer, not a graphic designer and the ease of use and quality is excellent. As a matter of fact, I have 2 locations, so I bought a second printer for my other location.
