Why spend $350 for your 2U RM UPS Batteries?

Pros: high quality replacement, reliable q/a Cons: may lose your $100.000 damage coverage but i, never have had to use it using upc for 15+ years.
My Rack mount 2U APC SU1400RM UPS rudely crashed and refused to start once the battery indication was "Replace". Even if I disconnected the battery tray, it still would not start up. Humm, my SU750, and Backups XS 1200's will run without the battery on utility power if I don't have an immediate replacement. (Of course no protection, but at least you are up and running!) The APC replacement battery pack is nearly $380, and this is a bargain at $200. I have used BTI in several of my UPS's and I find their batteries to be as reliable as the original APC batteries, so I strongly recommend this replacement product.
