Pros: compatibility, design, easy to setup, value for money
Reasonable price, plentiful ports, does the job. This swtich took the place of two older boxes. Just plugged everything in and everything works like it supposed to.
My company bought a building about six months ago, inheriting a rack of switches in the back room from the prior owner. One switch was practically dead and the another had a noisy fan. We bought this switch and had it installed in place of the noisy one a couple days later. (Delivery was fast, even without having to pay extra.) It's whisper-quiet and works like it should. We're growing again and will soon buy an identical switch to meet our networking needs.
